At Glenstone Baptist Church we believe that music is a vital part of worship. We are encouraged in the Bible to worship with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. We seek to do this with both congregational singing and through our various choirs. The Chancel Choir is composed of volunteers, most of whom are adults. They sing most Sunday mornings as well as at special times such as Easter and Christmas. Their practice time is at 7:30 PM on Wednesdays. The Youth Choir usually sings in the Sunday evening services. It has become a very vital part of our worship. They meet for supper on Sunday at 5:30 PM and practice at 6:00 PM. Our Children’s Choirs sing on special occasions. They meet for supper on Wednesday with practice afterward. We are constantly seeking additional persons who would use their musical talent to aid in the worship of our Lord through music.
