Glenstone Baptist Church was begun in 1929, and moved to the present location at the corner of Glenstone Avenue and Walnut Street in 1946. Dr. Patrick D. Ward came to be the pastor in February of 1989. The church is affiliated with the Greene County Baptist Association, the Missouri Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
